Abstract

Electromagnetic neuroimaging amounts to infer the brain neural activity from remote magnetic and electric measurements. This multimodal imaging technique requires numerical techniques to solve ill-posed problem (less measurements than unknowns) and we will describe the Maximum Entropy principle (in the time-frequency representation of the data) that provide a unique and reliable solution to this problem. Applications in surgery planning for patients with pharmaco-resistant epilepsy and the study of some oscillatory process during slow wave sleep will be described.
